I was born an artist into a family littered with hobby artists.   I had dreamt of living in a big city and be a part of a vibrant creative community.   Instead, the mantle of adult responsibilities drew me in a different direction.Now I'm nearing retirement, the nest is empty, and art has come calling again!There is something healing and contemplative about doing art.   I'm more settled, seeing more beauty, and finally finding 'my people' in the art community.   Art continues to be less about what I make and more of what it makes of me.
