I first started capturing moments in time when I was just 8 years old. I used my parents Kodak Brownie and took lots of photos of my older sisters, my stuffed animals and toys. At the age of 12 I got my first camera that was just mine, a Kodak film camera. I was in love. My photography has evolved into a love of nature and wildlife.
Submissions were requested from area photographers in September 2015, and 22 of my photos were chose to be displayed in the new hospital in our community, Parkview Warsaw Hospital! Each photo is being framed and will hang in hallways, waiting rooms or in the doctor's offices of the new hospital. I love being able to share my photography with others! I have won various awards for my photos, including Grand Champion overall in the art category at the Kosciusko County 4H Community Fair, multiple first places, multiple second places and one third place award at the Kosciusko County 4H Community Fair. My nature photos have been featured on area newscasts on WNDU, Channel 16 out of South Bend, IN, WSBT, Channel 22 out of South Bend, IN, starting in 2010. I have also won two Photo of the Day awards on the Capture Door County website.
My love for photography started at a young age and as I've matured my mission has changed from personal photography to sharing the beauty of the world around us with others. I love to capture the everyday moments and special occassions in life. I love nature and feel closer to God when I'm outside admiring HIS creation. Trees, butterflies, sunsets, clouds, hearts, flowers, bald eagles, wildlife, and barns are some of my favorite things. I hope you are blessed and inspired with the photographs that I share.
