Passionate and Lifelong Environmental & Animal Rights Advocate ... are just a few of the things about him ...
He first picked up a camera at about the age of 5 and bought his first camera at about 13 years of age and his second at about 17 years of age (of these he still has one!).
His Dad was, & still is, a avid Landscape & Portrait Photographer and they had dark rooms in 2 or 3 of the countries they lived in. He regrets never working with film beyond just taking the picture! His favourite film as a student - Agfa Crome - He could get 38 to 39 frames from a roll of 36 - mounted on quality plastic mounts for less than about $25! Absolute VALUE! He laughs, Ha Ha!
He has have never undertaken any course of study as a photographer nor does he own a single book on photography (other than his equipment manuals etc) however he studied Particle & Nuclear Physics (Quantum Mechanics, Optics, Quantum Statistics & Nuclear Physics @ prestigious Universities) giving him an significant advantage, over most people, in the understanding of light!
He prefers not to alter his work in ay way (other than may be to reduce some minor skin blemishes). Many (or most) of the images in this gallery (of published / exhibited / book cover etc images) are a reflection of this.
He concludes by saying that 'I would also like to thank both my parents for for their support and love, past and present and future, without which I would not be here today'.
