I make art to promote discovery, transformation and healing. I am drawn in by the philosophies of Buddhism, The Law of Attraction and spirituality. What fascinates me is our ability to sculpt the universe. Often great change can begin with one small suggestion to move into the direction of our truest selves. Even for thunder and lightning to occur- something must move.
You could hear me say consistently that I work by guided intuition. The truth is this is not just how I make art but how I live life. I communicate my intentions while listening in the moment. I liken the experience of creating a work to that of automatic writing. I will often pour on a canvas or draw over glazes if that is what I am guided to do, free enough to give up control. In this way I allow other presences to narrate direction.
I begin each piece by setting an intention to consider the possibilities of our path, purpose or the cause of the actions we create to move toward attaining our fullest potential.
