Hello and welcome to my gallery.
I have always enjoyed art but especially the disciplines of sketching and painting.
The most influential period of my life was the time shared with my children when they were very young. I recall the happy hours spent with them drawing and painting pictures and telling stories. Children have a wonderful ability to combine these activities in a unique and magical way. This experience taught me that paintings which can produce a good story have a very special appeal. So, if children can make a story from a picture, why not everyone else? Whilst this aspect of my art is a primary consideration I also try to produce paintings with a degree of realism in them but add an element of fantasy. The latter, I hope, heightens the viewer's experience - like being in a pleasant dream.
