At a young age I was fascinated with cameras and the image making process. In my development, I became more observant of light and learned to create images that matched my vision. Thirty years later I still feel the need to create and share this vision. I do spend a lot of time looking up, clouds that produce filtered light and shadows that rake across a scene is what draws me to landscape photography. Yosemite and the Sierra Mountains are special places for me, there is no shortage of amazing moments and grand landscapes. My goal is to capture images of the natural world as I see it, in both monochrome and color.
