Andre Giovina, visual artist, earned a B.S. in photography from East Texas State University and studied art and architecture in Rome. His work shows worldwide with recent solo and group exhibits in Maryland, Montana, and North Carolina. His abstract and surrealistic prints, based on his passion for provoking visceral response, hangs in the US, Canada, and Australia.
'Passion is the force behind what inspires me. It drives me to create art that is thought provoking to others. I explore abstract and sometimes dark areas of desire and obsession, and create illusions of existence with a touch of fantasy. A sense of surrealism abounds, while the characters radiate an aura of loneliness and tell a story beyond what we see.'
