Andrew Cottrill is an architect in Tacoma, Washington. His love of photography is exhibited here and you will probably notice a lot of architectural content.
Photography has always been a passion of his and he recently decided to share his images with the world instead of just his hard drive. Travel is also a passion and you will also find lots of images from a recent trip to Italy and past travels as well -- some of which are scans from slides taken on Kodachrome 64 slide film. Beyond Architecture, Andrew Cottrill is an artist in many medias. Other passions include working with Glass and creating Jewelry and glass objects that he has sold in galleries around the state of Washington and Ohio, Metal work, and wood working to name a few.
His Photographic career began as a young child as his father was a wedding photographer and photo hobbyist. Countless evenings were spent watching and participating in slide shows. Kodachrome 64 was the media of choice back then but as time went on, Digital Photography became more prevalent. Today he shoots with a Sony A7c in jpg and raw formats and edits the photos in Lightroom bringing out the very best of what is contained in the photograph. Enjoy what is here, there is more to come.
