Allan Richter was born and lives in Philadelphia. His father Charles Richter designed and created custom furniture and was an avid photographer. His mother was an interior designer and lover of art. Allan inherited his parents interests. He purchased his first single lens reflex camera when he was sixteen years old and has been making images ever since. Allan is a member of the Photographic Society of Philadelphia and has exhibit in both group and one artist shows. He also photographs organizational events,
