Welcome to Wolftrax Photo. I grew up in NYC & then grew up some more in southern Maine. I came to Maine with friends for a weekend and never went back.
I am an artist, photographer, writer and a 'working' musician. For years, I was at odds with my art and music, like I could only do one or the other but never both at the same time. The consequence was I didn't give my all to either one. Now 'we' all work together. I actually get to do a lot of artwork & photography for our band(s) and especially at Open Mic Night which my husband and I have hosted for 17 years.
Much of my inspiration comes from nature: the ocean (all water really) the woods, wildlife, trees, flowers, landscapes, seascape, the changing seasons, sunrise to sunset . . . all of it. I enjoy color, intricate design, architecture, angles, texture and all things abstract. As a photographer, I want to shoot most everything I see. As a digital artist, I play with my photographs, teeter on the edge and push boundaries. I love the freedom.
I've included a few of my Marker Drawings on the website. These I call my 'Sharpie Art' drawings. They are stories, chapter in a book, adventures. There is much color and there is black and white. And always detail and design.
Art, whether it is done naturally or it is manufactured, it is still art! For me, it is not a means to an end but a way to new beginnings.
