Albert showed an early interest in art and painted as a hobby through his teenage years. He was accepted as an art major at the State University College at Buffalo on a tuition-free scholarship. As an undergraduate, he studied for a semester at the University of Siena, Italy.After graduating with a degree in Liberal Arts, Albert joined the Peace Corps and served for two years in Buyo, Korea.
