People struggle throughout their lives to find their calling. But I have been blessed to never go through that. Born in Ottapalam, Kerala in 1946, I have had a passion for painting for as long as I can remember. My parents although weary of my ' scribbling ' all over the place, helped me pursue my dreams. Through the encouragement from my family, I got my diploma in fine arts from Thrissur, Kerala. An added feather was the national gold medal that I won in geometry.
I started out my career teaching high school students to be just as passionate. From there I moved to Chennai in 1968 to work in a cinematic publicity company as an art consultant. In 1972, I joined international advertising and marketing company as an art director. I then decided to move to Bangalore to join an advertising agency, F. D. Stewart's as a creative director. However in 1978, I decided to settle down in Coimbatore and make it my home. I also started my own ad consultancy called ad graphics at around the same time.
I have a collection of various genres of paintings spanning over five decades. I have sold the replicas and originals all over the world. I have participated and displayed my art works in various exhibitions as well.
