A traditional self-taught artist, Adrian has won awards in Jamaica, his country of birth. He has been painting for the last 13 years, honing his skills as a fine art painter who focuses on the representational. Adrian currently resides in the United States with his son and wife. While experienced with many mediums, he focuses mainly on oil painting, creating wonderful pieces that have been featured in the local newspaper as well as commissions for personal collectors throughout south eastern Ohio where he lives. His 2004 painting, The Journey, earned him a prestigious award in JCDC’s National Visual Arts Competition and Exhibition held annually in Jamaica. Adrian has an eye for landscape painting but his true prowess is creating complex pieces that aim to engage the viewer in a higher thought process, usually associated with recognizable images relatable to the everyday life of any individual. His artwork hangs in private collections both nationally and internationally.
