My very human hand playfully works to achieve a certain imperfection. I use texture, both real and implied, to excite the natural human need to touch. Discipline and spontaneity clash to produce paintings rich in creative tension. Irregular pattern appears, intersecting with random or accidental elements that evoke surprise. An accident?
