About me:
I am a mostly self-taught watercolor artist and instructor based along the inner banks of North Carolina.
Born and raised on a small farm in rural South Dakota, I enjoyed a creative upbringing with drawing, music, nature and hiking.
My artistic journey began during my childhood. I have always loved to draw and that love took me on an adventure to explore the magic of watercolor.
An opportunity for watercolor instruction was presented to me and I found a love for sharing my knowledge in the medium.
My paintings show the passions I grew up with. The farm life, seasonal changes and year round beauty of nature are present in all my landscapes. I love painting and many subjects can be found under the collections tab here on my website.
