I grew up in rural Arizona, sometimes way out in the boondocks - a country girl through and through.   I was born in Prescott, Arizona and spent much of my childhood there.   Although we lived in several other places, I still consider Prescott my hometown.   I went to high school in a little town called Mayer, Arizona.   I was active in sports and clubs and was my graduating class Valedictorian.   I was active in my church youth group and spent many years in children's ministry during and after high school.   I married my high school crush in 1982 just...more
