Hello, and welcome to my gallery. I have been photographing since 1970 and currently live in Knoxville,Tennessee but I was born in Wichita, Kansas. I am married and have five children and 10 grandchildren. My photographs include a variety of images from multiple states in the United States as well as some from England and Germany. I photograph images that are primarily landscape and scenic that is intended to create an emotion or memorable experience for the viewer.
I first began taking photographs with film cameras. Many of my photographs on Fine Art America were scanned from film but I currently use a digital camera for all my photography, and with those images in my gallery collection you can enlarge a print to 40 x 60 inches (H x L).
My photographic inspiration to be a better photographer comes from photographers such as Ansel Adams, Galen Rowell, David Muench, Eliot Porter, Steve McCurry and Annie Leiboviitz. I once owned a color darkroom and learned a great deal about how light affects photography. In addition, I am a Veteran and retired Army Lieutenant Colonel. Aside from photography I play guitar, golf and baseball. Please take the time to enjoy some of my photographs.
