Hi everyone. I was born and raised in Northern California on a ranch raising Arabian Horses. I moved to Arizona in 1980 and have never left. I moved here for my dad's health but lost him in 1991.
I was introduced to photography in 1978 by my wife Paula who was a sports photographer for the San Francisco Chronicle. She was an awesome photography and taught me everything she could including dark room techniques down to pushing film and composition.
I was so thankful for getting involved at that time because having all the film background really helped with digital photography no saying I didn't have any issues.
With just the education from my wife I am a self taught photographer and I paid many dues to grow and with my passion for photography and being raised in the country I have been able to do what I love most, Nature and Landscape photography. You will notice that a great % of my work is done in Northern Arizona but I do travel over the country for special orders of some real challenges but just love it. I also do Real Estate photography
which I dearly love as well.
I am a person that wants to grow and learn everyday and love people and love to talk about photography. I work with an open mind and will always listen to what anyone has to say.
95 % of all my photo's are shot in HDR so take a look and let me know your thoughts. I would love to meet you and learn together.
Photographer Status: Professional:
Cameras I use: Nikon D7200, d7000- Nikon d700 and use a Sony NX5 for odd jobs but it is a wonderful camera. Shoot manual mode exclusively.
