Art is in the eye of the beholder. Each image will capture the attention of different viewers. Colors are maintained as close to original as possible, unless stated as altered. I prefer muted colors that align with nature, and as we know, nature can be pretty spectacular without heavy editing.
My interest in photography started with a point and shoot film camera and my first 35 mm was a Minolta 100. I learned darkroom work in middle school and was a photo editor by my high school years. My interest brought a new way of looking at the world. The eyepiece of a camera opens your world to a more keen view of your surroundings. It can open your mind as well as your heart.
