Character and narrative are central in the work of Sarah Dexter, whether she is creating a painting or animation.   Sarah particularly enjoys painting people who are important in her life while experimenting with bold colour.   She has been painting in oils since she was old enough to pick up a brush.   Sarah studied painting and digital media at East Tennessee State University, Studio Art Centre International in Florence, and Glasgow School of Art which contributed to her BFA in painting with a minor in digital media.   She went on to gain her Masters of Art in Interactive media...more
