Ten years ago, I switched from daily drawings to photography and since then, my so passionate journey and dedication to the photogenic arts never stopped as I have finally found my creative outlet. Brazilian born and raised in Rio de Janeiro and a New Yorker at heart, city where I've been living for over two decades now; a background of endless sources of inspiration.
Although I explore many genres, I am primarily drawn to Still Life, Portraiture and Cityscape, and very much in love with B&W photography. I also like to explore the use of unexpected elements as models and/or inspiration. I am a published photographer who also have collaborated few times with different artists in different mediums, such as writers, poets, painters and graphic designers, having my work published along theirs.
I am always seeking to expand and push my creative endeavors into a new realm and audience, so my work evolves naturally, organically combining whatever element which sparks the creativity and my vision. I'm fond of story-telling through images, so I try to touch the viewer and evoke emotions, so that they can create their own stories based on my photography.
I most certainly hope that you all enjoy what I see presented in front of me and how I translate them to your eyes.
