I'm a lecturer in psychology and avid lover of the natural world, who dabbles in photography in his spare time.   While I enjoy taking shots on both large and small scales, I am particularly fascinated by the geometrical beauty of flowers viewed at close range, and hence have a large collection of macro shots of flowers and plants.   I tend to think that all too often our human-level focus of attention means we gloss over the tremendous structural complexity and intense beauty of the 'small'.   I also like to set myself the challenge of creating collections or 'studies' of particular subjects, for...more
