In 2005 I took art classes in Houston Texas during weekends for over a year, which was taught by Mr Xinsheng Wang, an internationally known artist. Before that my main artistic interest was shooting pictures. Painting offered me a new way of expressing my feelings about lines, shapes and colors. Oil and acrylic are the mediums that I have employed the most. I particularly like using palette knife to construct effects by using intensive colors, rough textures, and the expressive layers.
