Bill Mollet is a retired award winning photojournalist, with many years of experience to his credit. He has been nationally published in newspapers, magazines, websites, and books. Beginning in high school, he used mostly 2 1/4 cameras, as well as 4x5's. Later, he moved to 35 mm cameras, and 8 mm movies. He filmed a 30 minute Super 8 documentary about Air Racing, which was well received.
Still photography is his main love, and he attended college in Sacramento to learn Photojournalism. He took to it right away. From professional instructors who worked in the field, he learned his craft, and improved rapidly. From there he worked on several newspapers up and down the State of California, and a short stint in Washington D.C.
After spending 10 years as a photojournalist, he returned to California and began to freelance. He continued his education at the Tri-Community Photo Center. There, he met a former Playboy photographer. He learned all he could there, from that instructor. During that time he shot for a local studio that specialized in Adult images. He did many shoots there, and with World Agency. Later he branched out to shoot BDSM on the advice of a friend. Using his skills he is producing artistic shots rather than just recording what is happening in a scene.
That work has been well received, and has been published in a book of his work. He is currently working on an e-book about how to photograph BDSM. That is still a work in progress, however many of the images in that project appear in the Gallery section.
His work has just been featured in Hot Girls Magazine, an e-magazine, doing a shoot for them at the Los Angeles Dom Con 2014. The models were wearing FemSkin, and were shot getting into the latex body suits. Take a look at the issue;
