Description
This time of year (Spring) there are many wildflowers growing in a Texas meadow nearby me and every chance I get, I go hiking through for photo ops. This cactus that is in the meadow at the edge under some trees is growing among the wild grasses and wild ivy. Even though it does not get much sun, the one paddle of the cactus has numerous flower buds on it, getting ready to bloom. You can also see a bee inspecting the one blossom that is yellow and starting to open. I love to see new things in this meadow, and this was a nice surprise.
