This time of year (Spring) there are many wildflowers growing in a Texas meadow nearby me and every chance I get, I go hiking through for photo ops. There is a stand of wild oak trees and it is very shady where they grow because it is left to the wildness of all the plant growth around there. I was surprised to see this bunch of Fleabane growing in the shade since they are mostly sun loving flowers. The morning sun does dapple in this area so I suppose they got enough sunshine to grow. I like the darkness in this image around the tiny white daisy looking flowers.
