Original watercolor painting, 'Changing of the Seasons', by Lynn Cyrus / Cascade Colors. This is a somewhat impressionistic or abstract expressionist style of nature painting. I love painting trees, and I did not have any concrete ideas of what would emerge from this painting when I began it. However, as the painting evolved, I realized I had a story I could pull together, of the changing of the seasons in a forest. Winter, spring, summer, and fall, many vivid colors fill this piece.
