Sometimes, you can be just walking along a trail, a path, or even a city sidewalk... and there's your shot. I stopped along the trail and framed this from right where I stood; the whole composition just seemed right.
I captured this image along the edge of Lake Arrowhead, near Luray, Virginia, USA, on a cloudy late-summer morning. With overcast skies persisting into the day, it was quiet at the park, and I thought this image, a lakeside seat under tall pines, captured the peace and tranquility of the moment very well. This image is one of my personal favorites.
