New Blood is a Watercolor painting based on the photos of wild horse photographer John W. Wagner located in Colorado near the Sand Wash Basin Wild Horse Management Area. John and I have been collaborating since 2010 when I first began the Mustang A Day Challenge. ~~~~~~~~~ The Foal, Shock Top, was the first born on the range to the abandoned domestic mare, Demi, in 2014. The Stallion in the small band of two mares and their offspring is the Sorrel Stallion Haze. Haze has one blue eye and one brown eye.
