Description
This is a small 6" square oil pastel drawing depicting an area that exists nowhere in the world except in my mind. Of course it has its roots in famous Egyptian and African architecture, but Google maps has no coordinates for this location. For this piece, I channeled the late artist Bob Ross and imagined a place where the sky was an intense blue, the sand was brown, and was overall a very peaceful environment. Unlike Bob, though, I felt trees would be unhappy here.
