Description
On my first night photographing the Milky Way in Milam County, I decided to play with the zoom on my fisheye lens during some long exposures. I let it get a basic exposure for half the time, then stepwise opened up the zoom for several seconds until it was fully zoomed out. A bit of post-processing, and this mind-expanding result happened. The star streaks are entirely the result of the zoom, witn Jupiter and Saturn causing the two brightest streaks in the lower left and low center. North of Buckholts, Milam County, Texas.
