I watched a free video series on methods for taking Milky Way photos, and found it is remarkably simple process for fairly experienced photographers. I went out last night and discovered all my photos were out of focus, as well as being bleached from light pollution at our local park. Tonight, we went to the closest dark sky area, about 30 minutes away, and set up on a remote bridge. The photos were amazing, but required a bit of processing to birng out the pizzazz. I present my first processed Milky Way photo! This was taken with my fisheye lens, with a 30 second exposure. Likely more will follow.
