Description
What is the Greek God of the West Wind you ask? "For centuries, poets have eulogized Zephyrus, the Greek god of the west wind, and his "swete breeth" (in the words of Geoffrey Chaucer). Zephyrus, the personified west wind, eventually evolved into zephyr, a word for a breeze that is westerly or gentle, or both." The name of this beautiful sailboat is Zephyr and believe me, she is a beautiful sailing yacht that we saw on our journey north to Mount Desert Island. We were sailing into Boothbay Harbor and as we were sailing by Cuckolds Station and Lighthouse, Zephyr sailed by. Isn't she just so beautiful! Love living my life on the Maine coast sailing to our heart's content! I wish you wish you fair winds and following seas.
