Description
The round tower in Glasnevin Cemetery, Dublin, Ireland, stands over the tomb of Daniel O'Connell,1775 - 1847, The Liberator, who campaigned for Catholic emancipation. At the time there were no Catholic cemeteries due to the repressive penal laws. The cemetery is now open to all denominations and none. It is host to over one million souls. There are guided tours, a cafe, exhibition area, flower and souvenir shops. It's well worth a visit if you are in Dublin.

Beautiful - love the tall tower in the cemetery - quite a tribute to a hero.
