Description
Artistic photograph of two Union Pacific diesel locomotives, No. 1902 (most prominent) and No. 1536 (rear). They are parked back-to-back and seen close up, filling the horizontal frame from left to right. No other train cars are shown. Photographed in Sealy, Texas, April 2018.
In addition to the locomotives, one can see the undergirding and tracks, with gravel covering the siding next to the rails. The sky is cloudy with patches of blue.
This is one of several images of these trains in this gallery. A closeup shot of the wheels and track alone is also available. All three views have been rendered both traditional and artistic. This image is artistic, based on the original traditionally processed photo.

Great find! l/f
Connie Fox replied:
Thank you, Neli. I learned a lot on this excursion, such as how important the numbers are on a train--and the people who keep track of where they all are, and when.
