Russian Spruce In Alaska
Photograph - Outdoor Bw Photo
Rugged, wintery-looking black-and-white square landscape photo of the Alaskan wilderness in Denali State Park. The slender, pointed trees are Russian Spruce. In the foreground, Alaskan Fir, which make beautiful Christmas trees.
Denali towers over this huge forested wilderness, with abundant wildlife and valley glaciers. Captured along the George Parks Highway south of Denali in late August 2015, the first snowfall of the year.
Denali State Park is in the immediate area of Denali National Park and Preserve--six million acres of rugged Alaskan terrain and wildlife. This leg of our late-August Alaska cruisetour from Fairbanks, Alaska, to Vancouver, B.C., Canada, took us southward—here, from the charming village of Denali to Talkeetna, Alaska.
In this gallery you will find companion images—some in color and some in black-and white, and in various crops to meet your needs. This image is the equivalent of 5x5, with larger sizes available. A square crop works nicely over a chair or in a grouping. Explore all the possibilities within this gallery and see what interesting new looks you can come up with for your walls and lifestyle.
