Winter landscape watercolor painting.
The trees and birdhouse in the foreground are a stark contrast to the misty, foggy, atmospheric background of this painting. Fog is rising above the partially frozen water, presenting a serene winter scene. The reflection of the trees in the still, calm water adds to the ambiance of this watercolor painting.
The painting needed a bit of color, and the foreground bits of multi-colored grassy remains of fall, fulfilled that need. Overall, I think it is a pleasing landscape.
