Description
Does this portrait make my neck look saggy? Seriously-----
Iguanas are a large, docile species of omnivorous lizard (Order:Squamata, Family:Iguanidae) native to central and south America, and the Caribbean. This one posing in the sun lives between a lighthouse and a resort in Baja California Sur, Mexico on an oceanfront cliff and loves to munch on handouts of lettuce. Note that the markings on its back blend nicely with the granite boulder of its habitat.
Iguanas may use visual signals to communicate with other iguanas through a series a rapid eye movements that other iguanas are able to detect easily due to their excellent sight. Despite this, they have been hunted for food and captured as pets.
