Description
This rose window is in the chapel of the Grace Presbyterian Church in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is eight feet wide and eight feet tall, the central imagery is the triune God of the Presbyterian faith, whereas, the right hand of God, the descending dove of the Holy Spirit and the Crown of Crowns representing the all wonderfulness of God. Surrounding the center are the seven words of Jesus whereby he said, I am the open book, I am the open door, I am the resurrection, I am the bread of life, I am the good shepherd, I am the food of the vine, I am the path! I used my Wista 4x5 Field View Camera with Kodak Vericolor Professional Film. I exposed only for the glass and let the wall in which it resides to go black. I shot this back in 1985 for the church and donated several copies of it to them. I attended this church from 1956 to 1975 when I enlisted the Army as a photographer. Then again when I worked at the Nevada Test Site from 1985 until 2009 when we moved away from Nevada. Thank you very much for stopping by to look, a favorite or a comment! Fair winds...
