Description
A few years ago I accompanied my wife on one of her business trips to San Antonio, Texas. While there she spent the day in conferences I spent the day roaming around the old town of San Antonio. Adjacent to the famous old Roman Catholic Mission of Alamo the grounds were spread out over an acre and it was all walled by stone. This is were horses and wagons were kept when the Alamo Mission wasn't a historical preserved place. There was this huge American Elm that was planted in 1750, the marker states and it is well taken care of! Thank you all for stopping by for a look, a favorite or a comment! Any thing is appreciated! In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.
