Description
This work depicts an unusual and rare recessive white Albino ruby throated hummingbird feeding on a blooming purple sage. I had been thinking of doing a drawing an albino hummingbird, when our local newspaper reported that a white hummingbird had been sighted. I decided to use the purple blooming sage as I thought it provided the perfect background and good color combination with the white bird with deep red eyes.
