Welcome to my site featuring photographs from Texas, Colorado, and other parts of the world, including a gallery from Iceland shot over two summers.
My home is in the Texas Hill Country, and I am a full time photographer, logging many miles on my car each year searching for the best light and coolest landscapes I can find. I also find time to shoot in the cities, as well.
A few highlights you'll find on my FAA site include photos from:
* The Texas Hill Country - my home and area I know pretty darn well.
* Texas Bluebonnets and Wildflowers - My first published book featured Texas wildflowers. The search goes on each spring to find the most colorful and vibrant fields.
* Palo Duro Canyon - one of my favorite places to explore in Texas that features views from narrow walls of slot canyons to the tips of the tallest peaks in the area.
* Big Bend National Park - As an area bigger than the state of New Hampshire, Big Bend has a lot to offer. I have a photo-journal book available in bookstores, but I still have so much more to see in this amazing west Texas gem.
* The Texas coast - From South Padre Island to Rockport to Port Aransas, miles of coastline await.
* Skylines and city scenes from Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas can be found on my site
* A gallery from Iceland featuring nearly 300 images from two summers spent exploring both the more frequented sites and the less-explored areas.
Nearly all photos seen here are available as prints or as digital files for website use.
I've been featured in Texas Highways, Texas Parks and Wildlife, Popular Photography Magazine, as well as several smaller publications. My images have been purchased for commercial use by law firms, real estate agencies, and hospitals, as well as by numerous individuals for personal use. I also have five books available in book stores and on Amazon - all but one published by Far Country Press. My wife is from Colorado, so I spend a fair amount of time in the Rocky Mountains, especially most of each summer when it is too hot in Texas to do much of anything.
