I have always looked beyond the mundane to the great mystery of life. My many trips to India have been an inspiration for my inner journeys as well as to my paintings. I am drawn to the Divine Mother in her many aspects, especially in the form of the Madonna. My subjects communicates an inner quietness. This stillness has a kind of meditative quality. It is this quiet place that allows the creative spark to emerge. This quietness is also meant to express the peace, that is found in nature as well as our inner selves.
