It is said that what we are drawn to in our childhood is what we are meant to do in that life. Rahdne's earliest memories involve colors, and how they spoke to him, as if they were sentient beings. He has been coloring the world around him ever since. Color is his primary tool for creating art and he uses it to set the stage, alter mood, and evoke responses. His artwork is permeated by memories and dreams. Acrylic paint, alcohol ink, and watercolor are used to create bold, vibrant dreamscapes where he explores dichotomous layers between the truth and untruth, the spoken and unspoken, the visible and invisible, the just and unjust. His creative process, which reveals levels of emotional enlightenment that cannot be reached in everyday life, is how he reconciles the unexplainable or finds comfort in the unpleasant.
When he is working with art, he is communing with the muses. Art is his destiny. His works of art are the landmarks along that journey.
