My name is Mike Unrue and I live in Daytona Beach, Florida.   I graduated from UIC in 2001 with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Graphic Design degree.   However, I started drawing about the same time I learned to walk and never stopped.   Growing up, I mainly drew from photographs trying to recreate what I saw as exact as possible.   I was always a huge rock/metal fan and loved the album artwork.   So, I often tried to recreate the cover illustration, or draw portraits based upon images of the musicians.   Living in Florida later in life, I also became...more
