My name is Ken Cave and I am a fine art photographer specializing in dramatic scenic landscapes and travel who also likes to dabble in macro and food photography which also make great home decor wall prints.

My landscapes tend to border the edge or reality in complete natural settings, urban settings as well as a combination of urban influence advancing with harmony into nature’s domain. Travel images use composition and juxtaposition of objects to create a sense of place unlike any other view.
I can't say I picked up a camera as a child although I did have a Kodak Instamatic camera and I did take pictures with it at wedding when I was about 12. They were pretty awful. My first real camera was much later in life. Although my roots started in film, I have fallen in love with digital era. While digital has made some things easier it has also created additional challenges. As somewhat of a geek, I love to create imagery using all the latest digital techniques. Much of my work is visualized before the shutter is released. That is why as an artist it is imperative to have full control over the art process from the time the shutter is pushed through the post processing phase of production. My view of the world is full of color and texture.
