I am sharing feature photographs spanning the digital photography era of my life (2003 to present). In the 20+ years that preceded digital I shot with film cameras, advancing my craft rapidly while shooting for my college yearbook.
I primarily shoot performance lifestyle work for organizations in the arts communities -- People doing the things that they love. Some of that work has graced the cover of national organizations in their monthly magazines, others have used my work inside to illustrate their articles. Much of my published work comes from the posters, brochures, websites and other marketing materials that these organizations use in the pursuit of their missions.
What I am sharing here are photos that are more personal in nature, as I am in awe of the beauty in this world and try to capture and share the things that I see. As a rule, I do not alter my photographs; with two understandable exceptions: 1) Dust removal and 2) Restoring the color in the image to that seen by my eye because a digital sensor sees light differently than the human eye.
