Jenny or Jen is a self-taught artist with a passion for oil painting. She has the natural ability to visualize and draw since childhood. Her inspiration and creativity comes from visual excitement of the environment around her and places she has been or seen. Her journey in art until recently are more as a hobby in between her career. Most of Jenny's early artwork were conventional and traditional with painting and charcoal sketches of scenery, people and faces with detailed accuracy. Only in these last decade, Jenny learn to appreciate the beauty of contemporary artwork, the abstract and out-of-the-box rendition of art. She began exploring painting with acrylic and creating abstract pieces by merging old style with the new, creating canvas of various mixed medium using combination of technics. This exploration has open up a new horizon for Jenny to continue her journey to find her own unique style of painting where she can captured that moment in time where her mind ‘flow free’ without rules nor restrictions, letting the mind and heart guide her through the final painting. In doing so, Jenny artistic journey now has taken her to the next phase of life…. where painting no longer just as a hobby, she is looking towards to be a full-time artists.
Jenny holds a Master Degree in International Business, and she works with the Hospitality, Tourism & Events Management industry for nearly 3 decades. Throughout her working career, she always been passionate in the creative side of the work and very much hands on in the concept and designs phase of each project where she can contribute and combine her artistic skills with Business Solutions for her clients.
