I came to this country as an immigrant from Germany where I met my husband, when he was stationed in the Army back in the mid seventies. We have three grown children and one grandchild. This is where my interest in photography started, with family photo’s. One of our interests was attending NASCAR races where I would take my husbands thirty five millimeter camera and walk around the track and take pictures of the people and surroundings. Then came along the digital age, which really sparked my desire to expand my horizon on different types photo shoots. I use a Sony camera which is not the choice of most photographers, but I find it a comfortable fit for me. My interest is nature, things that you find in your backyard or the field across the street. It allows you to get outside and enjoy life, to feel the quite and calm of a trail hike.
