About me--I am a retired elementary teacher/principal. Watercolor paintings have always called to me, and I vowed to take watercolor painting lessons when I retired (my only prior art instruction was one high school art class). I discovered watercolor was quite a challenging medium, and I continue to learn with each painting I attempt. My adventure expanded into soft pastel painting--just love the richness of the pigments and the tactile experience of the application--and acrylic on canvas.
